5 Ways to Make it a Mother’s Day to Remember

April 27th, 2018 by Staff

Mother’s Day is only a couple of short weeks away and that means it’s time to get ready to celebrate the most important women in your life. Show the special women in your life just how much you care by heading to the mountains for a trip that they will reminisce on for years to come!

Check out our list of five ways to make Mother’s Day the best one to date:

  1. Take in Picturesque Views

Take in the crisp mountain air and scenic mountain views by taking a hike with mom. High Hampton Resort features eight hiking trails that pass through over 15 miles. The trails range in difficulty to accommodate first-timers and seasoned veterans alike. Trek to the peak of Chimney Top Mountain for an incredible view of Cashiers valley and the Blue Ridge mountains or take it slow and go on a leisurely stroll along Hampton Lake. Every trail is lined with hemlock, blooming rhododendron and mountain laurel that provide the idyllic backdrop to create lasting memories with the special women in your life.

  1. Rock Out with Mom

Every night music fills the air at Rock Mountain Tavern. Get groovin’ on High Hampton Resort’s spacious patio. The nightly entertainment features a variety of musical talents at a beautiful venue with stunning views. Comfortable seating and tasty libations are always available. Enjoy a glass of wine, take in the scenery or dance the night away and give mom a night she’ll never forget.

  1. Relax and Rejuvenate

Balance mind, body and spirit at the on-site European-inspired Hampton Health Club & Spa. A quiet day spent with mom sipping bubbly accompanied by facials, massages and organic skincare treatments is the perfect way to help her relax. The Sips & Spa Girlfriend Getaway package running through Mother’s Day includes a 90-minute spa treatment, $100 food and beverage gift certificate and a bottle of champagne awaiting in your room upon arrival.

  1. Get Closer to Nature

Hampton Lake is the perfect place to cast a line and spend some quality time this Mother’s Day. The quiet atmosphere is ideal to catch up and reminisce on special family times. High Hampton also offers the unique experience of interacting with their famous on-site llamas and mini donkeys. Llamas are great caddies if golf sounds like a fun activity! Resident donkeys, Fred and Ed, are happy to take pictures with guests to ensure this Mother’s Day will never be forgotten.

  1. Toast Mom with Mimosas

End your tranquil getaway with a special toast to mom! Reminisce on fond memories and reconnect over a delicious Mother’s Day brunch in High Hampton’s traditional dining room. Impeccable service, delicious southern inspired cuisine and endless laughs will make your Mother’s Day unforgettable!

These are only just a few of the countless ways to make it a Mother’s Day to remember at High Hampton Resort! For more information on how to book your stay, visit www.highhamptonresort.com, or call 800-334-2551.
